It wasn’t so long ago that STEAMPUNK was everywhere on the internet. It seems to have died down a bit. It’s a good thing that ODDMAN jogs your memory of the fun and dedication of those who love STEAMPUNK. Have a great day.

I think in any style or “era”, as long as there is a corset, I’m for it. 🙂

Thanks for the pics! Note…..if one is a steampunk fan, mark your calendar for Labor Day weekend next year. One of the largest steampunk festivals in the US is held in Hannibal Missouri (yep, the Mark Twain town) every year. It’s four days of contests and concerts and shopping and all things steampunk!

I still love steampunk! Steam Powered Giraffe and The Cog Is Dead is on my Pandora feed, and I’ve got 2 costumes for cons – an aeronaut complete with aether-jetpack, and an adventurer from the Miskatonic Institute that got a ribbon at the 2015 World-con. But sorry, Mikemenn, no corset here – too fat! 😀 In fact, that’s part of why I got the ribbon – I said no scholarly woman in her right mind goes hunting eldritch artifacts in high heels and a corset! Judges loved it! I hope there will always be a steampunk community.

Dragon! That dragon piece is a beautiful thing. I would LOVE to add it to my collection (okay, anything dragon I would…^_-) Speaking of dragons, I found some at my county fair. (Yes, I needed those too…lol)

That lamp (the one above the steampunk bugs) looks a lot like the first Enterprise ship (from Star Trek). [My Dad is a mild trekie.]

Umm..a corset? I shall pass on that I like breathing.

    Have a good one,
