IN THE BEGINNING…

In the beginning there was Monday. Welcome to Monday, the beginning of the grind. We all do it so let’s get on with the ODD. At least there is a pleasant part of the day.

I heard over the weekend that people are boycotting Disney and Netflix right now. People are looking for any reason to be pissed now.

And no not off topic, Your Disney on ice pic reminded me of the article.

I agree with you. People are looking for tangible targets and it really doesn’t matter who or what those targets are. There is a lot of pent up rage out there and unfortunately I think that it’s going to get ugly. I hope not, but I believe that it will. It’s going to be interesting in the near future, to say the very least.

Thanks to the internet I am never surprised by the actions of others, such as the motorcycle drama. In my time such an incident would have been fodder for an epic tale, told at the bar for years to come.

    I love the castle picture!

    – Disney on Ice…..just makes me chuckle….but I have a sick sense of humour anyhow.

    – “He changed the truth to fit him….white man”. So true. If one looks at the history of the world and a majority of who have dominated others and who has shed the most blood and who has stolen more etc etc etc …..it for the most part comes down to white people. But of course it has nothing to do with skin colour and all to do with the herding concept…we simply trust and work with and conspire with those who we feel are ‘one of us’ and to the exclusion of all others. Of course for the first time in history that I know of…..that’s changing.

    – The man in the tree surrounded by skyscrapers. There’s a city near me that is increasing the growth of downtown….more highrises popping up everywhere. Of course this means the destruction of homes and other buildings that are historical in order for developers to make money and for the city to bring in more taxes so they have more money to waste. Soon the downtown area will be one mass of huge, cold, expressionless, dead, concrete buildings with no other purpose than to make a few people wealthy. Why can a city not say “sorry, we’re full, but if you want to move here please purchase an existing structure”. As we all know the bigger something becomes (cities included) the more it costs in every aspect. My view is, keep a city small, efficient and affordable.

Have a good week. Hopefully better than people on the east coast. They must have done something real bad to piss off Mother Nature ….again.

Is it bad that I watched that gif over and over laughing harder each time at the mass of cats running in different directions?

Dragon! The dragon picture is adorable, and something I would do if I had a little dragon of my own. 😉 Woo..the castle picture is amazing, and I want to go in it. Maybe I can conceive them to let me stay a while..^_-

The snowman picture is funny and right up my alley. It reminds of me of the Calvin and Hobbes snowman series, which is amazing, funny and so wrong at the same time, but I love it!

    Have a good one,

Wow! This weekend’s posts are all top notch! When I get to work each day, your post is the first thing I look at so I can get through the day! If you ever need a break, just run some of the previous years posts because they never get out of date and they are always great! Thanks for all you do. We know it takes lots of work and sacrifice to put this together. Thank You!
