ODDMAN does not use actors for the posts. It is officially actor-free. It’s also free. I hate those “actor-free” commercials for Chevrolet. There’s a great video as what would happen with real people at the end of the post. I wish I’d made that. Have a good one.

And the shit storm starts. P.T Barnum is in the White House. Story: HERE

I learned to drive a standard transmission on a white Ford Econoline cargo van with standard steering and standard brakes, in 1977.

On a bus in california I once watched a guy roll a perfect joint in two quick motions, it was amazeing. He noticed my look of awe, smiled and gave me a thumbs up. While I’ve never driven a “three on the tree” manual I do drive an 1973 modified chevy 3.500 with a dump bed for seaweed and leaf collection. Learned how to drive manual in a 78 international dump truck. I do like driveing manuals I feel more engaged and conected to the vehicle. That being said, it’s been over a decade sence I’ve driven on the mainland and the thought or driveing over 35 mph in real traffic terrifies me.

I told my 16 year old son that this might be the last generation that teaches their children how to drive if self-driving cars become the only permitted form of transportation.

Your comment is as prophetic as the song, “Red Barchetta” from the Rush Album, Moving Pictures. If not familiar, it speaks of a finding an old red Barchetta in an uncle’s farm after “The motor law” and driving it around as his “Weekly crime”.

I learned how to drive with my mom’s trailblazer, but has a kid when driving with my dad in his truck I would help him stiff gears. 🙂 I haven’t learned how to drive a manual, but maybe one I will.

The frog paperweight is beautiful and if my grandma was alive she would probably want one since she collected them. ^_^ Speaking of that lady, she would have been 92 today. 🙂

    Have a good one,

All the science says cats can’t taste sweet flavors, but I call horse-pucky. My Romeo cat will eat the marshmallows from breakfast cereal, will BEG for them, and we all know it’s just sugar. Science needs to reevaluate this theory. 😀

i wasn’t going to mention the 3 on the tree, as I didn’t think it was a rarity, feeling old 🙁
I learnt to drive on a farm when I was 12 with a 4 on the tree in an old Toyota Stout, then my first car was a Holden HQ Kingswood that had the 3 on the tree. Was real embarrassing when the linkages would lock up when slamming from first to second while trying to show off, would have to stop, lift the bonnet and fix it, and hope not too many saw it. Eventually modified it to a Toyota Celica 5 Speed floor shift.

What is that last thing posted? Did you post a fuckin commercial? Please, Please, Please tell me you didn’t and if you did don’t do it again. WTF ODDMan isn’t there anywhere in the world we can go to get away from it? You broke my heart , this is worse than Trump being President.

      George, George, George.

It’s a send-up of that Chevrolet commercial, not a real one. I absolutely HATE that series of Chevy commercials. Think of it as an SNL skit about Trump. 🙂

Oddman – I enjoy your wit and cynicism at great length but please don’t go BuzzFeed on us! The Trump story is misleading news – it is from her official bio (and the story even states it). They are not “selling” anything other than the standard bull in any bio.

I can’t stand the Cheeto either but please, don’t turn off your logic feature. Cheers!
